Our History

Berryessa Valley Church started many years ago as a Bible study by a church-planter, Jim Stone. Having already planted churches throughout the Western US and Canada, Jim committed to seeing God's plan for a meaningful local church in Berryessa. Jim guided that small group until it became a vital church. God provided greatly during that early time.

In 2005, Douglas Estes moved with his family from a suburb of New York City to become the first paid lead pastor of Berryessa Valley Church. Since this revitalization, the church has grown rapidly through a clear vision to reach its community for Christ and God's great blessings. In less than 4 years, we are poised to complete a large building expansion for our growing kids ministry.

We invite you to be a part of the future story of BVC!
